Mika Ink provides branding and marketing communications services for clients large and small. We get (ridiculously?) excited about helping companies and individuals achieve their goals through creative strategies, powerful language, strong brand voices, and striking visuals.
Much of our work has been related to fleet management, technology, restaurants & bars, freight shipping, logistics, insurance, heavy equipment, and the automotive industry. But we certainly don't stop there. We love nothing more than learning about your industry and your business.
Hi there.
I'm Shelley Mika, and Mika Ink is my baby.
In 2006, I took my first freelance writing assignment. In the years that followed, more and more came through the door, and my wee little freelance baby grew.
At the same time, I was learning, growing, and thriving in the corporate world in roles including writer, copy team manager, digital marketer, and brand strategist.
Then one day it became clear: My baby wasn't so small anymore; it needed my full attention. I happily conceded and shifted all of my energy to Mika Ink and our amazing clients.

What's it like to work with me? My goal is to make working together a fun, virtually effortless experience for my clients. I want to surprise you with how creatively and strategically I approach the work you need done. And I want you to feel how much I care about your work and your business (aka your baby).

Outside of raising this sweet child o' mine, I love to travel, scuba dive, paint, and spend time with my bosses...er, pets. Don't be surprised if you see one on a video call...
